For the Love of Cats

Our grand daughter loves cats.

So I used the Impression Obsession  Mini Peekers
Masked and stamped with the brick wall stamp.
Impression Obsession - Hello

Inside I used the Stamping Up Balloon Adventures
Poppy Stamps - Baby Kittens

I do love making special cards for our grandchildren and when their birthday comes around
they are always wondering what I'm going to come up with next.

Happy Crafting,

Good Friends

I couldn't resist the Art Impression stamps I feel
my friends and I are pretty much
in this stage of life.

Items Used:
Art Impressions Stamp - Staying Afloat
Coloured in pencil with background inked

Ladies Thinking of you

This is a simple but effective card made with the background die
Spellbinders  - Venise Lace - Emmieline

This die can be cut out in one piece or as I did for this card cut into the card.
Then placing the coloured piece behind the die cut out.

I do believe I shall be using this die often.

Blessings,
Carol

Wedding Card

Who doesn't love a wedding?

My friend had two granddaughters getting married within weeks of each other
and she wanted hand made cards for them.
This is one of them:

You can't see it in the photo but I had bought a beautiful pearl embossed
cream card stock so I kept it reasonably plain.

Sue Wilson - Shadow Boxes - Mr & Mrs
Frantic Stamper Die - With this Kiss Couple
(I cut three colours out and joined them accordingly)
The flowers were:
Heartfelt Creations - Arianna Blooms
(with pearls in centre)
Cheery Lynn - Baby's Breath
Cheery Lynn - Flourish Leaf Strip
Added a little bit of cream and gold trim ribbon.
Inside I did a 3d heart with gold embossed words:
(Forgot to take a photo of inside)

Happy Crafting everyone.

Crafty Hugs, Carol.

All cards before here came from Crafty Carol's Cards blog site which I believe will be closed with all Google Blogs in the near future.

This was my first card when I began my Blogsite because I had joined the Bizzy Bec's Design Team.

Unfortunately Google has done something which will cause the Google accounts to be shut down very soon.

I have copied some of my cards over and hope that it can continue to be smooth sailing again from here.  I have also taken a break from being a designer as life had become a little busy and I was starting to post a little late and struggled to make cards with what was available to use.

I didn't have many followers anyway and I may not get any now I'm not out there as a designer but it's nice to keep a record of cards I've made and what I used to make them.

If anyone does run across my blog I would appreciate it if you would leave a message and let me know who you are.

Using my newest die... A Marianne Design - Curved Border
Lawn Fawn - Happy Birthday Border
All purchased from Bizzy Becs

Carol

Trifold Beach Card

Trifold Card

Stamp Set used:
Art Impressions Beach Set Tryfolds rubber stamps
I coloured it with pencils and was happy with the affect only I'd like a heavier white card stock.
I had to add another piece to the back of the card to strengthen it.

So I wondered how it would look if I were to 3d it on the front of a normal fold card.

This was the result:

Have a great day all.
Many blessings,  Carol

Toy Box

I made this card for a dear cousin's daughter having her first baby through IVF

How amazing that we have so many options open to childless couples these days.

I know first hand the desire to have children and the difficulties I had.
Not as bad as some I know but the hope and the disappointments are enough
to bear without all the rest some endure.
The good Lord eventually blessed us with three wonderful children even without
any knowledge until years later that my issues were from Endometriosis.

To all those ladies waiting and hoping my heart goes out to you.
I had a neighbour who finally had a baby after three continents and eleven IVF's.
It happened after a lady prayed over her so without the belief she still calls her boy a miracle.
My the Lord bless you with your greatest desires.
